'My oil painting style is representational and focused on landscapes.  Spending time observing nature at different times of the day and varying weather conditions is essential to my subject choices.

I am constantly intrigued with shadow and sunlight and how it will impact my work.  I work with a limited palette to promote harmony and rely on color value to capture a scene. 

The close proximity of both the ocean and desert means the inspiration for my art is endless.
